Freshford's triangular green and its Romanesque church doorway make it one of the best-looking villages in the county — and its position between Kilkenny city, Ballyragget and Urlingford keeps it comfortably inside the same-day zone. Moves and deliveries out this way are usually quick, friendly jobs with easy parking.
The wider patch takes in Three Castles, Jenkinstown and the Ballyragget road on one side, and Tubbrid, Kilmanagh and the Munster border townlands on the other. Plenty of period farmhouses out here — which means plenty of solid-timber furniture that genuinely needs two people and a blanket, not a courier with a hatchback.
