Terms of Service

These terms apply to all jobs booked with Man With A Van Kilkenny ("we"/"us") by you ("the customer"). By booking, you agree to these terms.
1. Bookings & quotes
Quotes are based on the information you give us. If the job differs on the day (extra items, longer carry, restricted access, additional drops), the price may be adjusted — we will agree any change with you before continuing.
2. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the job. We accept cash, bank transfer or Revolut. No card-machine surcharges.
3. Cancellations
You can cancel free of charge up to 12 hours before the agreed slot. Same-day cancellations may incur a small fee to cover lost work.
4. Loading & handling
We strap and protect items in transit using blankets and ratchet straps. Antique, fragile or particularly delicate items must be flagged at booking so we can take extra care.
5. Liability
Our liability for any single claim is limited to the amount paid for the job in question. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, items not packed by us, or losses arising from incorrect information given at the time of booking.
6. Items we won't move
We do not transport hazardous materials, illegal items, livestock or anything otherwise prohibited by law. Pianos, safes and high-value items are by prior arrangement only.
7. Access & parking
It is the customer's responsibility to arrange access and legal parking close to both addresses. Any parking fines arising from inaccurate information are the customer's responsibility.
8. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures or other events outside our reasonable control. We will keep you updated and reschedule where needed.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of the service, please contact us within 7 days so we can put it right.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
